"It's our last day of live-action filming in 2019, and we're celebrating with a sneak peek", the post read.

Eron Cameron wrote everything the people would expect from Avatar's sequel to the script.

The film's official Twitter account shared the news with a behind-the-scenes photo on Friday with a picture of their set as they wrap filming for the holiday season. It would suck to see Avatar 2 and 3 and 4 and then not find out how it all ends.

Avatar fans had waited long enough for the past 10 years, but thankfully, Avatar 2 has been already set to hit theaters on December 18, 2021, though tentative. Ina was asked. But the official Avatar account said he was sorry, "Unfortunately not soon".

The official social pages for the films added: "That's a wrap for 2019, Na'vi Nation!". Avatar: The Method of Water is ready to be launched on December 18, 2020, adopted by Avatar: The Seed Bearer on December 17, 2021, with the remaining two movies - Avatar: The Tulkun Rider and Avatar: The Quest for Eywa - launched on December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025. The tweet shows a behind-the-scenes image of the Sea Dragon, which is a huge mothership that carries several ships. The film audience across the globe are eagerly waiting for the sequel to the second highest grosser of the worldwide box office to hit the screen.

Last year, the director revealed why it's taken him so long to begin shooting the sequels, blaming underwater motion-capture technology - something he claims has "never been done before". The new cast members include gorgeous Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Edie Falco, Cliff Curtis, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, David Thewlis, and CJ Jones.
