Donald Trump Jr ventured on to the University of California's overwhelmingly liberal Los Angeles campus on Sunday, hoping to prove what he had just argued in his book - that a hate-filled American left was hell-bent on silencing him and anyone else who supported the Trump presidency.

Donald Trump Jr. was heckled - by his father's own supporters - during a book-tour stop over the weekend, a report said Monday.

Per the Guardian, some of the ruckus was caused by a faction of MAGA supporters who believe that the Trump administration has been infiltrated by globalists who are stymying the President's nationalistic goals.

The audience was angry that Trump Jr and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, would not take questions.

According to the Guardian, the audience's chants morphed from a gleeful "USA!"

They believe that the Trump administration, and the GOP as a whole, has been infected with "fake conservatism" and that Trump himself is "at the mercy of a cabal of deep state operatives who wouldn't let him do numerous things he campaigned on", according to two of the hecklers that spoke with The Guardian after the event.

The discontent originated with a fringe group of young conservative extremists (read: white nationalists) who call themselves "America Firsters". "Q and A!" after they were told he would not take questions, the newspaper reported.

Trump Jr then unsuccessfully attempted to assert that questions from the floor risked resulting in soundbites that can be abused and distorted by left-wing media.

When it became clear they were going to continue to shout at them, Trump and Guilfoyle walked off the stage.

"You're not making your parents proud by being rude and disruptive.Respect the people around you so that they can hear.I bet you engage and go on online dating because you're impressing no one here to get a date in person", Guilfoyle said to the hecklers.
