Kanye West Takes His ‘Jesus Is King’ Tour to 2 Houston Prisons

Last month, West released the album along with a short film featuring him and his Sunday Service gospel choir that screened in IMAX theaters.

The rapper and about 100 singers and musicians performed for 200 male inmates at the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas, before popping across the road to perform for a smaller crowd of female inmates.

Now a devoted Christian, the rapper and entrepreneur will join the popular televangelist Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, where Kanye will take 20 to 30 minutes to discuss his recent religious awakening for the first time before a massive audience of 45,000 people.

The interview will air dwell on Sirius XM in 11 a.m.

The performance is "sold out", Iloff said.

The Grammy award-winning rapper and his choir performed songs from his gospel album "Jesus is King" on Friday, Nov. 15 as inmates waved their hands and knelt in prayer.

It's also not clear if his wife Kim Kardashian or his children will attend the show, though they're regularly seen just off stage and his oldest daughter North, six, often dances on stage.
