Since the departure of Zayn Malik from One Direction, there have been several opinions against or in favor of the former member, who even had a social media fight with Louis Tomlinson.

Throughout the show, Styles also took the stage to perform his songs "Watermelon Sugar" and "Lights Up".

Following the sketch's debut, fans wasted no time in taking the risqué comments and captions from SNL and using them on the actual Sara Lee account in real time, flooding the comment section with comments like "WRECK ME DADDY", "DESTROY ME, KNG", and a plethora of eggplant emojis.

Ringo Starr famously left The Beatles back in 1968, he quit the famous band for five months while they were in the middle of recording an album.

It seems Zayn's exit caused a lot of tension in the band. Niall [Horan], Liam [Payne], Louis [Tomlinson]. Uh. "Ringo! Yeah, that's it".

During Harry's SNL monologue, he brought up One Direction.

Harry went on to joke: "I'm not in a boyband anymore".

He also said: "How insane would it be if they were here tonight?"

"I'm so grateful Simon Cowell grew us in those test tubes".

Making reference to the many people he's been linked with in the media throughout his career, Harry introduced himself to the audience.

Harry compared hosting "Saturday Night Live" to dating, adding: "And just like all my serious relationships, were gonna spend one incredible night together and then never see each other again".

Given the audience's reaction - and the overall public anticipation for Styles' new album Fine Line, due out December 13 - the singer's in no danger of needing to shed his day job.
