While on "The View", the president's son faced the co-hosts around the table and discussed controversial topics such as his tweet about the federal whistleblower.

"The whole point of releasing a name is to intimidate someone, to threaten someone, and to scare other people from coming out". I understand that, and I know how hard it is, ' she said, adding in a shaky voice that she lost both of her parents to cancer.

"It goes both ways", Guilfoyle insisted, alleging that "93 percent negative media coverage" about Trump - a years-old stat which has largely been refuted. What you seem to have seems very disingenuous because you can't say I'm a private citizen and yet you're in the middle of all of this (revealing the identity of the whistleblower). Trump Jr.: This is fact.

Voluminous, verbal bulldozing was Trump Jr.'s non-winning tactic as he talked over all the women on the panel, including the one who came with him.

One of the tamer moments of the episode saw Meghan McCain posing a scathing question to Donald Jr.

"I understand, but the question is about character and character in politics, which I believe is important". It was how I was raised, it's the way I view the lens of America, and I understand what you're saying about policy, but when you're talking about attacking Gold Star families who have given the ultimate sacrifice more than anyone in this room has given, and you put them through pain. "Does all this make you feel good?"
