The first of these maps is Shoot House, which will be added to the rotation in regular playlists, while Krovnik Farmland will be exclusive to Ground War, the 32v32 Battlefield-esque mode. Along with the new maps and new game mode, a patch will also be released that contains fixes and tweaks to issues like claymores as well as making changes to the way footsteps sound.

What we do know is that two free maps are coming in scorching: a brand new 6v6 map referred to as Shoot Home and a large-scale Floor Conflict map referred to as Krovnik Farmland.

And if that happens, we can probably expect this new map pack to arrive in the United Kingdom after 6pm, GMT.

Activision has confirmed the modes and maps that will be arriving for free in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, with the update itself scheduled to arrive tomorrow November 8th. As soon as Activision or Infinity Ward post the patch notes, we'll be sure to post it as soon as possible. "This includes our new in-game system for Modern Warfare, which begins in December, slightly later than originally planned".

"The new Battle Pass system will allow players to see the content that they are earning or buying".

"There will be both a Free Stream and a Premium Stream of content in the Battle Pass System in Modern Warfare". Apart from this, other elements of the game like ultra-smooth controls, the edgy feeling of the collective gameplay, and state-of-the-art weapons are all being heavily appreciated by gamers. Ground War in particular is crying out for a third map to add some more variety to the mode, and we can only hope and pray that Shoot House is an improvement over the distinctly average maps which are now available.
