Apple launches iOS 13.2.3 update

One of the most annoying issues that Apple addresses through the iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3 updates is related to system search that didn't work within the Mail, Files, and Notes apps for some users.

According to the release notes, Apple has fixed a Mail app bug that prevented the app from syncing with new messages.

Apple has released another software update for its iPhone users around the world. Beta testing is now underway for iOS 13.3 which brings some big new features to the Screentime app on iPhone and iPad.

The latest update is yet another in a string of patches that have come out since Apple released iOS last month. Despite Apple's previous updates, it seems background apps were still having issues operating properly post-iOS 13.2.2, but of a different nature. As found in the second developer beta version of iOS 13.3, the version will bring Lightning FIDO2-compliant security key support. It also eliminates an issue that kept photos, links, and other attachments from appearing in the Messages detail view.

Finally, iOS 13.2.3 is meant to resolve issues that could stop Mail from fetching new messages.

Slow email: If you were unable to see the latest email and facing other issues such as such as failing to include and quote the original message in Exchange, the latest update will sort that out for you. To do that, head into Settings General Software Update. The update is around 90MB in size but actual size will vary with device.
