The wedding sequence from the Bigil poster also features in the trailer, and Nayanthara is seen telling Vijay that he seems to have forgotten his Kadhalakku Mariyaadhai days.

The trailer has plenty of action sequences and shows Vijay in multiple avatars.

The memoir of Bigil is set a coach conducted by Vijay who helps a converse-stage ladies crew to form better success in a soccer match. With just a couple of weeks left for the film's release, the makers put out the film's trailer on Saturday.

The film is scheduled to hit the theatres this Deepavali. It ends with Vijay counting "Ek dho theen" till 10 in Hindi and waiting for a vehicle to explode outside a police station. His fans are sure to be delighted by how he says "Verithanam" in the trailer.

In his previous two movies with Vijay, Atlee Kumar had created a kind of confusion in the minds of his roles. Produced by ASG Entertainment at an whopping budget of around Rs 180 crore, Bigil has Nayanthara as the female lead. The audience is the referee and the fans are hoping that with Vijay's kickoff, it would be a goal! The first look posters and songs released earlier were an indication that the film is a sports drama, revolving around a women's football team coached by Vijay's character, but raised speculation on the actor playing dual roles.

Notably, Bigil is the third collaboration of Vijay and Atlee after Their and Mersal.

Creative producer Archana Kalpathi shared the link on social media, posting, "Engalukku football ellam theriyadhu aana enga aattam Verithanama irukum!Kalpathi S Aghoram presents the trailer of our #Thalapathy's #Bigil".

The film is slated for a Diwali release.
