Paradox Interactive has announced Surviving the Aftermath, the latest entry in its Surviving series following Surviving Mars. “Surviving the Aftermath gives us the opportunity to experiment with these mechanics in new and interesting ways that we think our players will love.”. An early access version of the game will be released in advance on the final release. Since the Green Planet expansion launched in May, Surviving Mars saw eight times the amount of monthly active players, surpassing its launch player peak by 19 percent.

Today, the game has been revealed as a sequel to Surviving Mars, the survival colony builder developed by Haemimont Games. We don't know much beyond the details of the teaser trailer, but Surviving The Aftermath will presumably be in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Players can create new animals for the Surviving Mars Project Laika expansion. Such an environment would produce similar challenges to those faced in Surviving Mars, such as limited space and resources in a hostile and largely uninhabitable territory. After this period the title will cost $29.99. The convention will take place in Berlin and fans expect to hear more details about Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. The game tasks you with constructing domes and infrastructure and researching new buildings and technology, all while doing your best to keep the colonists alive and explore the mysteries that Mars has to offer. After much success in his own personal investments, he retired from his day job in financial services and is now focused on new private investments. When he is not immersed in investments or gaming he is a purveyor of fine electronic music.
