Some users were understandably not very excited about the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus partially because of the high price and partially because the Note 10-series was playing catchup with innovation.

Rumors of a cheaper Galaxy Note 10 surfaced back in April and sounded more like a prayer as the prospect of an even more expensive Galaxy Note became clearer. For now, the updates are available only in Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, S10e, and S10 smartphones in South Korea. For those wondering about the specifications of the upcoming smartphone, here are the specifications of the Galaxy S10. The Note 10 Lite could draw comparisons to similar models, but if its specs match up more closely to the originals, it could be better equipped to compete. Who knows. But if this takes place, it may also mean that the regular Galaxy S11 version may get dual front cameras instead of Galaxy S10's single front camera. The Note 10 is already seen as a heavy cutdown version of the Note 10 Plus. The Galaxy Note 10 starts at $949 and that can't be said to be affordable.

We had received reports of an affordable Galaxy Note device earlier as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is expected to be a spiritual successor to the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which the company launched in 2014 as an affordable alternative to the flagship Galaxy Note 3.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite may release within the coming months, though Samsung may aim to seed this device before the Galaxy S11 so as not to dilute its brands and confuse buyers. The device is likely to feature a S Pen considering the series it is a part of.
