Rebekah Vardy has been "inundated" with messages following her WAG row with Coleen Rooney over alleged leaked stories.

Everyone knows that footballers' wives and girlfriends often make for popular tabloid fodder, but when Coleen Rooney realised that someone with access to her private Instagram was leaking stories to The Sun, she made a decision to take matters into her own hands by laying an intricate trap for the follower who was betraying her.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy's wife has since denied the allegations launched by ex-England captain Wayne Rooney's spouse, speaking openly about the abuse she has been receiving since the claims were made. Rebekah Vardy has just revealed what she said to Coleen during the phonecall after everything unfolded. Plus, she continued: "I'm not being amusing but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?"

"It was not a simple telephone name. What would I gain from selling stories on you?" she tweeted. "The whole world hates me"!"

At first, Knightley seemed rather ambivalent about the specifics of the incident: "I don't think I have any thoughts on it all-what thoughts are we meant to have about it?", she asked Heat magazine on Thursday. She said: "'You know, I always really liked you, which makes it harder'". But the question of whether or not she would play Rooney in a movie prompted Knightley to react with full-blown enthusiasm: "Brilliant, done", she said.

"You can tell it that you are right and it is wrong, but it's still going to s*** in your hair".

"She would never want anyone else to go through what she has because of Coleen".

"Rebekah is determined to prove her innocence", a source said. Rooney revealed. "It's been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all".

Coleen believes this is proof that the fellow WAG allegedly sold stories about her private life.

Coleen publically accused Rebekah of selling personal stories about her and her family to The Sun in a Twitter post on Wednesday.

Vardy, who is seven months pregnant, told Daily Mail on Friday, "I have been told that I should die, that my children should die, my unborn child should die".

Lo and behold, three of Coleen's made-up stories ended up being published in The Sun.

'Whenever you knowing this was as soon as going on you've gotten urged me & I would possibly presumably have changed my passwords to scrutinize if it stopped.

"(Rebekah) was OK piping up about me before if she wants to give it she needs to take it!" she wrote.

She blocked all of her followers and allowed just one account - Rebekah Vardy's - to see her posts as she finally came to the conclusion that her pal had leaked gossip about her.

Other stories include one where Coleen Rooney was eyeing a return to television by holding talks with BBC about signing up for Strictly Come Dancing on September 28, and also another story about how Rooneys' brand new £20 million mansion had flooded.
