Directed by British filmmaker Nick Knight, the movie will follow different clips of West's infamous Sunday Service.

The 42-year-old hitmaker announced the news during a surprise appearance at Howard University in Washington D.C., where he held a listening party for his highly-anticipated new album, "Jesus Is King".

The movie, which will feature gospel performances from his Sunday Service Choir, is set to debut in IMAX theaters worldwide on October 25. It arrives in theatres October 25, and tickets for screenings are in actuality on hand.

The Jesus Is King trailer shows the screen slowly zooming in on a light from inside a keyhole tunnel, with his gospel music playing in the background.

"I wonder when this will be delayed until", one Twitter user commented on the trailer, while others added, "Don't lie to me Ye" and "Watch him delay the movie too". The minute-long video zooms into the white area within the heart of the Roden Crater, whereas a efficiency by West's Sunday Service choir performs. It features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition along with new music from his forthcoming album "Jesus is King". Tickets can be found right here.

As ET reported earlier this month, West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, led fans to believe that an all-new album was coming on September 27, when he held his Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience event at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.

People have been checking for that album since August 29 when his wife, Kim Kardashian West, shared what appeared to be a handwritten tracklist with the date September 27 on social media.
