Face unlock on the Google Pixel 4 has a serious flaw

So either Google threw this out as an unnecessary precaution or still hasn't perfected it quite yet since this option won't be available on the Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL when they go on sale next week, the company told BBC News.

Below you will find all of the best SIM-free/unlocked Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL offers now available. But now we know it's cutting corners in at least one way: the Pixel 4 doesn't come with earbuds or a wired headphone dongle. Google's custom-built Titan M security chip will protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of the operating system. Both feature a 12.2 MP primary lens that has an aperture of f/1.7 (77-degree field of view) and a secondary 16 MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4 (52-degree field of view) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) on the rear. While that might sound surprising considering the various upgrades in the phone, this seems to be the new norm after the recent iPhone release.

On the Pixel 4, the Google Assistant is now a faster way to get more things done.

However, it appears that Google changed its mind about including this safety mechanism.

The BBC noted that in leaks of the phone before launch, a set up screen suggested eyes should be open. Then, you can share a picture by saying "send it to Mom". Essentially, someone could unlock your phone while you're asleep without you knowing, which is significantly less secure than a passcode or PIN. It pretty much allows you to interact with your phone with air gestures and motion. Users can also easily search within your recordings to quickly find a specific word or sound. The phones will be available in stores from October 24.

When Google announced the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL on at its Made By Google event, it revealed that the phones will not receive unlimited photo storage at original quality like its predecessors.
