U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren had a great night at the HRC/CNN LGBTQ Equality Town Hall. Add Democratic Party as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Democratic Party news, video, and analysis from ABC News. "And I'm going to say, 'Well, then just marry one woman".

"I'm cool with that", said with a shrug. Then resumed: "Assuming you can find one".

The moment came after Warren was asked what she would say to someone who told her that they believe "marriage is between one man and one woman".

Chris Cuomo is apologizing for a remark at the top of a CNN town hall on LGBTQ issues that angered some members of the community and their supporters. "Mine too", he joked, which was met with a notable lack of laughter and a collective cringe from the entire LGBT+ community.

The interaction quickly made its rounds on the internet, with one tweet of the video being shared almost 40,000 times.

"I think the whole foundation (of faith) is the worth of every single human being", she said. "Warren also shows that she is sexist as she suggests no woman would ever hold that view". She said she saw that "as a matter of faith", and that the "hatefulness always really shocked me".

She said she couldn't be sure what she thought as a kid, and acknowledged that different faiths see things differently.

Prior to the debate, Warren announced a plan to pass the Equality Act, which would amend the Civil Rights Act to protect against discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and gender identity. She said that's what she learned in the church she grew up in. "And it truly is about the preciousness of each and every life".
