Liverpool Alisson Becker is joined by Manchester City's Ederson, Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Loris and Chelsea's Europa League victor Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Ajax: Donny van de Beek, Dusan Tadic.

Donny van de Beek and Dusan Tadic are in the running, while Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt - who have since moved on to Barcelona and Juventus respectively - are also included.

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, Ajax's Andre Onana, Juventus' Wojciech Szczesny, Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak, Inter's Samir Handanovic and Barcelona's Marc-Andre yer Stegen complete the shortlist.

Lionel Messi has Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk as rivals for the 2019 Ballon d'Or award, but not Neymar.

PSG: Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos.

The only Asian player on the list is South Korea forward Son Heung-min of Champions League finalist Tottenham.

Mane scored 26 goals in 50 matches for Liverpool last season with his tally of 22 in the Premier League earning a share of the Golden Boot with Salah and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Also in the list are premier League stars Sergio Aguero, Sadio Mane and Hugo Lloris.

The victor of the prize will be announced at a ceremony in Paris on Monday December 2.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has described Lionel Messi's vote for him in the FIFA The Best award as a "great compliment".

Last year, Luka Modric ended seven years of Ronaldo and Messi reign of dominance when he scooped the award for winning a third Champions League in a row with Real Madrid - as well as captaining Croatia to the World Cup final.
