Noosa councillor Jess Glasgow was asked to leave the mansion by Bachelorette Angie Kent after a raft of sexu al comments that made her uncomfortable.

"He can't be fired but I tell you I'll be speaking with Jess about his future on the council".

He also bragged to other male contestants that, "I would have just grabbed that sweetie and laid one on her", and, "I've kissed plenty of girls and they've turned their heads before; I'm used to it".

Cr Glasgow was sent home before the rose ceremony in the second episode of the show, after being accused of making several inappropriate comments.

"I still work for the people, I've been doing great before this and I'll do great after it".

"I know deep down I haven't broken the rules".

"That sort of offensive, crude misogynistic behaviour is just not on", he said.

Glasgow told The Kyle and Jackie O radio program on Friday he was unhappy about his behaviour but wouldn't resign as a councillor because his actions did not accurately reflect him as a person.

"If there is anything in my entire life that I've been super sure of, I will never allow a man to come in and fuck with my sisterhood. I am not this guy, and I know that", he said.

Mr Glasgow explained he was trying to be jovial and reveal his "wild side".

"I'm truly sorry if I made her [Angie Kent] feel uncomfortable".

"If one of the councillors were to go on reality television, I would ask they represent themselves and the region well, which Jess Glasgow clearly hasn't", he said.

The mayor has since referred Mr Glasgow to a code of conduct probe.

"He certainly wasn't acting on behalf of Noosa council on the show, but he did reference his role on Noosa council which he shouldn't have done, and made in fact some play of the fact he was a politician on the Noosa council".

On Thursday, only 631,000 people in the five capital cities tuned in to watch Angie take part in her first single and group dates.

FORMER mayor of the Sunshine Coast Bob Abbot says Noosa councillor Jess Glasgow's actions on The Bachelorette have brought local government as a whole into disrepute.
