While Apple has not discussed anything about the October event, yet there are lots of rumors already.

There have been several reports that Apple will release a 16-inch MacBook Pro. The 16-inch laptop will be powered by custom Intel 10nm Ice Lake processor. It is rumored that it will sports a larger display with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels with smaller bezel size.

A new leak out of Chinese website Chongdiantou via Weibo suggests that Apple will include a pretty massive 96W charger with its upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro.

As per the source of the publication, the charger supports four output gear positions- 5.2V-3A, 9V-3A, 15V-3A, and 20.5V-4.3A.

Apple is also teasing its Pro Display XDR coming this fall which will be capable of up to 96W pass-through charging.

A power adapter that offers more current leads to faster recharges.

San Francisco: A leaked photo has alleged that Apple might ship a 96W USB-C charger with the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The blurred image shows the bottom of a charger with the labels "96W USB-C Power Adapter" and "Designed by Apple in California - Assembled in China" just like Apple's official power adapter. The shared image revels the model name of the adapter and it looks similar to Apple's charger.

Apple is expected to host an event this month to launch new iPad Pro models, Mac Pro, AirPods 3 and more. After all, we believe it'll be Apple's attempt to go all out on a "generational" device, much like it did with the iPhone X back in 2017.
