Aston Martin has launched a new version of their DBS, the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato and the auto comes with a V12 engine that produces an impressive 760 horsepower.

Aston Martin's latest collaboration with Italian design house, Zagato, has been revealed. Aside from the gloss finish carbon fibre roof and rear diffuser, the most attention-grabbing detail on the vehicle are the Aston Martin badges made up of solid 18-carat gold.

Just as eye-catching are the DBS GT Zagato's cabin appointments, with its centrepiece being its centre console's "central saddle design" that features a "unique parametric, inter-locking form".

It makes its debut at Audrain's Newport Concours in the United States.

Inside the DBS GT Zagato features Caithness Spicy Red leather, Zagato "Z" seat quilting as well as configurable carbon and metal 3D-printed interior finishes.

Only 19 DB4 GT Zagatos were built back in the 'sixties, and fittingly, only 19 of the Continuation models will be produced, as part of the DBZ Centenary Collection. Of course, the DBS GT Zagato isn't an ordinary supercar purchase.

The fourth uniquely styled Zagato model after the limited run Vanquish based models from two years ago, the GT, as its name suggests, is based on the DBS Superleggra and according to Gaydon, pays homage to the DB4 GT Zagato that kicked-off the association with Zagato in 1960.

Power comes from a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 making 760 bhp.

"They have taken the already fabulous DBS Superleggera and shaped it into something which retains its Aston Martin identity, yet expresses itself as only a Zagato can". The price? An astonishing £6 million (RM31 million) plus local taxes.
