The Sky is Pink is directed by Shonali Bose and stars Zaira Wasim alongside Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. The poster was captioned as, "In this family, insane doesn't skip a generation!"

The first part of the trailer is light and mushy as it shows Priyanka and Farhan fall in love and get accidentally pregnant. It features Farhan carrying Priyanka on his back as the two kids, played by Zaira and Rohit, are seen running ahead.

The film marks the comeback of Priyanka in Bollywood after nearly three years. Aisha will tell the love story of her parents spanning 25 years. The film is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, an author and motivational speaker. After sharing the first poster of the film recently, the makers dropped the trailer today and it may leave you reaching out for the tissue box. It is co-produced by Priyanka, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and will hit the big screens on October 11. In the picture, Farhan can be seen holding Priyanka in his arms.

"Nick had come down to India because he was handling logistical things with the wedding planners while I was finishing the movie [The Sky Is Pink] and he came to set", Priyanka shared.

"TheSkyIsPink was made with not just hard work but with a lot of love and it is overwhelming to receive so much love and appreciation at #TIFF!" Check them out! And stay tuned for more! In an interview with Deadline, the actress revealed that The Sky Is Pink is narrated from the viewpoint of Zaira's character.

Priyanka was seen in the Hollywood film Isn't It Romantic, starring Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, and Adam DeVine. Akhtar has started shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's boxing drama Toofan.
