Scattered Showers Labor Day

When heat is released into the atmosphere it creates high pressure away from the hurricane. Comfortable, dry afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. A cold front moves through the area late in the day, giving us a chance for spot storm.

Temperatures will build through mid-week and reach the low 90s on Wednesday.

It's probably a good idea to keep your eye on the sky today, especially if you have outdoor Labor Day plans.

The high temperature in Boston is expected to hit 75 on Monday, 80 Tuesday, 85 Wednesday, 69 Thursday, and 68 Friday, the weather service said. It is still a category 5 hurricane with max sustained winds at 185mph. Northwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Today we'll continue to see a chance for scattered this morning then stay mostly cloudy for the balance of the day with highs in the lower 70s.

Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy with intermittent sunshine throughout the day. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and quiet with lows in the lower 60s.
