Rodgers completed 30 of 39 passes for 313 yards with two touchdowns while Wentz threw for 254 yards with one interception.

Sacked six times in the previous two games, Wentz managed to stay upright.

Craig James was on the practice squad at the beginning of the week. The Packers punted on the next play down 21-20, and the Eagles scored a touchdown on their next drive. Although Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox made clear contact with Valdes-Scantling, impeded the receiver's left arm and wasn't looking back at the ball, officials in NY stuck with the call on the field.

The Eagles protected the football well en route to becoming the first team in 2019 to not concede a sack or a takeaway to Green Bay's defense, which entered the game top three in both categories.

Mason Crosby added a field goal in the beginning of the second quarter to make it 10-0. The Eagles capitalized with 1-yard score by Howard.

· Packers cornerback Tremon Smith (Saks) returned kickoffs for 20 and 25 yards. After a failed two-point conversion attempt, Philadelphia led 27-20.

The Eagles picked up the win despite committing nine penalties for 93 yards. On Oct. 6, Philadelphia hosts the New York Jets and Green Bay visits the Dallas Cowboys.

Williams caught a short pass from Aaron Rodgers before being stood up by a swarm of Eagles defenders on Thursday night, and Barnett barreled in at the end. After his helmet banged against Williams' helmet, Barnett was penalized for unnecessary roughness.

Vegas had a good feel for the line for this one, as the game opened with the Packers as a 4.5-point favorite.
