Leona wants to work with 'America's Got Talent' S14 victor Kodi Lee

Pianist and singer Kodi Lee was met with a standing ovation and the golden buzzer for his performance on Season 14 of "America's Got Talent".

America's Got Talent has crowned their season 14 victor and even if you don't watch the show on a regular basis, chances are you've heard about the victor.

Along with the honour of being named victor of AGT, Lee has taken home $1 million and will be headlining shows in November at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Lee, who is blind and autistic, was hailed throughout the season for his soulful, moving performances and he and his mother Tina jumped for joy when the announcement was made.

America's Got Talent finale airs Wednesdays (8 p.m. ET) on NBC.

Other finalists included Benicio Bryant, Emanne Beasha, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Light Balance Kids, and Ndlovu Youth Choir.

Lee will nearly certainly have no shortage of attendees, as the crowd frequently chanted his name throughout the evening and erupted when he was announced as the Season 14 victor. The Lake Elsinore, California, native was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and diagnosed with autism at age 4.

His mom accompanied him on stage all the blueprint in which thru the opponents.

"I feel so wonderful". She said: "We found out that he loved music really early on".

As for her advice for the young performer, Lewis said Lee "needs to just be himself". "It in actual fact has saved his life taking half in tune".

In the quarter-finals, Lee once again blew audiences away as he sang Paul Simon's 1970 classic, Bridge Over Troubled Water, after Cowell gave him special permission to perform the song.
