Kanye West Suddenly Buys a Cattle Ranch in Wyoming

The rapper has bought up the 9,000 acre Monster Lake Ranch near to the city of Cody, to the east of Yellowstone National Park, TMZ reports. TMZ points out that the ranch is recognized for its monster trout fishing. It has two large fresh water lakes, a restaurant, an event center, eight lodging units, meeting facilities, corrals, horse barns, and a bunch of animals on the property.

Whatever his future plans for his new Wyoming ranch might be, Kanye West certainly has plenty of space to carry them out.

Whatever Kanye paid for the property, it's reportedly under the $14 million asking price. He now owns 4,500 of those acres, and the rest is leased from the federal government. Fun fact. Cody is known as the "rodeo capital of the world". The record is due on September 27, but considering that Kanye hinted that he was going to drop an album around this time previous year, take that release date with a grain of salt.

Kanye is there now. earlier this week, he was tooling around his new property on an ATV.
