Jalen Ramsey reiterated on Thursday that he still wants the Jacksonville Jaguars to trade him.

After it looked like Ramsey's career with the Jacksonville Jaguars was coming to an end, it seemed the Jaguars and Ramsey were attempting to reconcile their differences. According to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, the Jaguars are attempting to get two first-round picks in return for Ramsey, but other general managers that La Canfora spoke to "anticipate the final haul being more like one first-round pick, a second-round pick and a young player with upside". "For me respect is a huge thing".

Jalen Ramsey is not going back to the Jaguars

"I'm going to continue being a top corner in this league for years to come". The money will come, but money isn't whatever.

"We were just kind of living in the moment, sinking in the moment of, 'Man, if this was the last one, it's been an honour to play alongside those guys.' It's been a good ride. Peace and joy implies a lot more than the cash".

According to Benjamin Allbright of KOA Colorado, Ramsey is expected to rejoin the Jaguars and plans to play in Sunday's game at Denver.

Ramsey got into a verbal exchange with Jaguars coach Doug Marrone during their Week 2 13-12 loss to the Texans after Marrone chose not to challenge a catch by Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in which it appeared Hopkins may have lost hold of the ball briefly as he was being tackled. Of course, with his trade request still on the table, speculation has run rife on his missed days.

Ramsey used a mysterious "flu-like" illness to miss practice on Monday and Tuesday this week, was out Wednesday with a previously unknown back injury, then was absent Thursday and Friday because of paternity leave.

"Months ago in the offseason, Jalen notified me that he was expecting the birth of his second child in late September", Marrone said. However, Ramsey insisted that he truly couldn't practice. Three hours after Marrone said he didn't know when Ramsey suffered the injury, the team released a statement saying Ramsey did report back soreness to the team's medical staff during the fourth quarter of the Titans game.
