Jadon Sancho makes history with England double against Kosovo

England continued their ideal start to Euro 2020 qualifying with a 4-0 win over Bulgaria on Saturday, with captain Harry Kane hitting a hat-trick in a comprehensive win at Wembley.

England elevate up their half-century at St Mary's tonight in their Euro 2020 Personnel A match against Kosovo, who are unbeaten in their previous 15 video games.

The Three Lions now face Kosovo on Tuesday night in their last qualifying match before the end of the worldwide break. Rooney had only 14 goals after 40 England caps and Southgate believes Kane, 26, will run him close.

Kane's hat-trick against Bulgaria puts him 14th in England's all-time list of goalscorers, while Sterling has also rediscovered his scoring touch at worldwide level, netting his seventh goal in as many caps.

Since moving to Bundesliga side Dortmund in 2017, Sancho has scored 17 and set up 27 goals in 60 appearances.

"If I say "we come to win", I think a lot of people think that is pretentious; if I say "it is not possible to win against England", I must change my job".

"When you're selecting a team, there's half an eye on club form but also I don't remember a game where he's been really poor for us".

"We've got Sancho and [Chelsea youngster] Callum Hudson-Odoi who are going to push - and really push". They have great humility.

'But also, a little bit, that although we've for a very long time almost wished Marcus to be that choice as a 9, I'm nonetheless not sure that that's the place he's happiest and the place he does his finest work.

"I think whenever we're judging games, all of us look at what hasn't gone well and sometimes we can overlook the brilliant things that they do, that maybe other countries don't have".
