Dulos and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis were arrested in June and charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence in connection with the May 24 disappearance of his wife.

Jennifer Dulos, 50, of New Canaan, has not been seen since dropping off her five children at school on Friday, May 24.

Dulos, who has been fighting her for custody, has not seen his children since early June.

Missing Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos' estranged husband Fotis arrested again

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing United States mother Jennifer Farber Dulos, was taken into custody this week and charged for a second time with tampering with evidence, officials said. They pleaded not guilty and posted $500,000 bail.

Dulos, after he was released on $500,000 bond Wednesday, told reporters, "It's an exhausting fight".

State police released a 43-page arrest warrant after Dulos arrest.

Dulos attorney Norm Pattis said in a statement, "Our hearts go out to Ms. Troconis".

"The crime and clean-up are believed to have occurred between 8:05 AM and 10:25 AM", officers said. Police later found the "bloodlike substance" that contained Jennifer Dulos' DNA on one of the seats. The worker told investigators Fotis pressured him to remove the vehicle's seats, and later said he was anxious his estranged wife's hair might be in truck because he had hugged her days before she disappeared, according to the warrant. We wish the state police spent more time looking for Jennifer and less trying to build a case against Fotis. When and if the state decides it can prove its case, we will welcome the chance to meet the case in open court.

"There isn't much here that we haven't heard before and I question the wisdom of these charges", Pattis says.

Troconis's attorney did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Investigators discovered stains that tested positive for human blood on the mother of five's garage floor, the arrest warrants said, and evidence of attempts to clean up the scene of what investigators concluded was "a serious physical assault ... and Jennifer Dulos was the suspected victim".

Police asked Troconis why she thought Fotis Dulos had his employee's truck cleaned and she said, "Well obviously. all the evidence says because. you showed me the picture of the blood in the door it's because the body of Jennifer at some point was in there, " the documents said. It is unclear if Troconis faces any new charges. The business relied heavily on loans from Jennifer Dulos' father, who contributed millions to help Fotis buy properties, with sale proceeds used to pay off debts.

Fotis Dulos was arrested on Wednesday on a new charge of tampering with evidence in connection to his estranged wife's disappearance.
