It'll be the complete edition of the game, as you'd expect, and there's an official launch trailer below and a 41-minute gameplay video from the docked version.

After a long run of rumors about its existence, The Witcher 3 was finally confirmed to be getting a port for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

Following that, we also learn that the Switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is going to have at least one leg up on its PS4/XB1 counterparts.

To do this, the game developer stripped some of the visual frills and pomps from the game. It'll launch for Switch this October 15th. Storage requirements are subject to change and we'll let you know if it does. The Witcher 3 will ship on a 32GB cartridge, meaning the entire game and its two expansions will be available without extra downloads. If you don't want to spend that much on a microSD card, take a look at the SanDisk Extreme 128GB. We probably won't see too many ahead of the release date, but we could see some nice discounts around Black Friday and the holidays.

According to a recent preview article from Famitsu, the magazine confirms that The Witcher 3 loads around 40% faster on Nintendo Switch. After all, The Witcher 3 is still considered to be one of the best looking games of the generation, and it's one that needs a good amount of horsepower to run. The physical packs of the "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" expansions are priced at $10 and $20 respectively.
