Real Madrid are set to launch a final £60m bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, who has made it very clear to the London club that he will not sign a new contract.

While Pochettino has been satisfied with his own transfer business, bringing in the likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso, several of his players are targets for clubs overseas, where the transfer window is still open until as late as September 2.

"A lot of people now realise it was a massive mistake".

"We need to wait and hope there are not too many changes or not too many problems for us".

"We need to go back and operate in the same way that they operate in Europe because I think it's massive when you go to compete in the Europa League or Champions League".

The La Liga giants want to make a late bid for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder for a cut-price deal before the end of the transfer window.

Real have been linked with Pogba all summer, while Inter Milan are making a late push for Sanchez to bolster their forward line after Edin Dzeko committed his future to Roma.

Asked if Levy would agree with him, Pochettino said: "I don't know but I hope yes".

"That will be the moment to have a big conversation with the whole squad about the season ahead".

This summer the club did break their transfer record to sign Tanguy Ndombele for £53.8million and also brought in Giovanni Lo Celso, Jack Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon. They were Manchester United, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Swansea and Watford.

"We're in a process where every season is rebuild the team, every season is rebuild the season".

"Paul is a Manchester United player and we must respect that", said Zidane at a press conference on Friday, as quoted by Metro.
