In addition, PUBG Corp. debuted PUBG Season 4's impending release date, confirming it would be arriving on August 27. PUBG Corporation is the publisher and developer of the 2017 blockbuster battle royale video game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), on multiple platforms.

Fortnite has shown that you can blend keyboard and mouse users with controller players so if that's the main concern, it should be put to rest.

Why it matters: PUBG Corporation is additionally committing to faster console edition updates. There's also a new Survivor Pass that includes over 100 rewards to earn, and new community challenges that unlock their own rewards. You can purchase this add-on for 1,000 G-coin, or you can get the special PUBG - Aftermath Pack from the PlayStation Store for $14.99.

Next, we are thrilled to announce that cross platform play is coming to PUBG on consoles!

PUBG will support up to 100 players in cross-platform play, and the firm expects wait times to decrease because of the "wider matchmaking pool" that will be provided by the combined audiences.

Despite releasing on PC long before ever coming to consoles, it doesn't sound like the idea has been floated there, at least not yet.

That's not all that's happened since then: PUBG also came to the PlayStation 4 in late 2018.

All of these exciting announcements could not have been possible without you, our wonderful community. Season 4 is being touted as possibly the game's "biggest update yet", with the much anticipated Erangel Visual Update and Survivor Pass 4: Aftermath being added upon its release.
