Ronaldo has continued to star after joining Juve previous year, scoring 28 goals in 43 games in all competitions and helping the Italian giants win another Serie A title in 2018-19.

Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyers have admitted that he did pay a woman a £300,000 settlement after she accused the superstar of rape in 2009, despite him denying the claims.

And despite winning many trophies with club and country, the Portuguese global has admitted that it may be time to hang his boots.

He told Portugal TV station TV1: 'I don't think about that (retirement).

"Maybe I can leave my career next year ... but I can also play up to 40 or 41".

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star scored 21 goals in 31 appearances for the Bianconeri as they retained their league title, and he says he remains motivated by making history and breaking records.

But the Portuguese forward is more focused on a different achievement, rather than winning trophies.

"Are there any football players who have more records than me?"

It still looks to invalidate the settlement agreement from 2010 on the grounds that Ronaldo and his legal team took advantage of Mayorga's fragile and emotional state, coercing her into signing the agreement over claims she would face a public backlash.

Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped a bombshell that he could potentially retire from professional football as early as next year.

"I'm not satisfied that Ronaldo's interest in holding Mayorga to her agreement is enough to justify sealing the entire record in this case".
