Kelly, a Syracuse native and Syracuse University alumna, told investigators in 2016 that Ailes, then her boss at Fox News Channel, had offered to advance her career "in exchange for sexual favors" when she started in 2005, but that she rejected him repeatedly.

He said at the Sundance film festival earlier this year: "There's so much talk about the very good signs that there's so many great women's stories being told".

Academy Award winners Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman along with Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie will be sharing screen space in their upcoming film 'Bombshell'.

Charlize Theron plays Fox News host Megyn Kelly in Lionsgate's "Bombshell", coming to theaters in December 2019.

The star's name quickly became a top-trending Twitter topic, with netizens being shocked by Theron's transformation. Robbie enters the lift, pressing the button for the second floor, and is soon joined by Theron and Kidman.

Robbie, Kidman, and Theron's characters don't say a word except Kidman, who points out, "Hot in here...", before walking out. Not pictured in this trailer is John Lithgow as Roger Ailes. The film is directed by Jay Roach and written by Charles Randolph, the Oscar-nominated team behind The Big Short.

Earlier this year, Showtime rolled out The Loudest Voice, its own highly-buzzed-about Roger Ailes project. She reported his behavior to a supervisor and it stopped, she said, but she came forward when other women, including Carlson, made similar accusations.

The embattled former Chairman and CEO of Fox News for almost 20 years, Ailes died of unknown causes in May of 2017.
