The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer for the upcoming JRPG's, Pokemon Sword and Shield, that surprisingly show off tons of new info like new gym leaders, Pokemon, and details on new characters that play a big role in the story of the Galar region.

Some of the gym leaders in Pokemon Sword and Shield will only be available in one of the two versions. In Pokemon Sword, players will challenge Bea, who specializes in Fighting Pokemon. Pokeballs to that, because this is the internet era and we want to know the names of these new pocket monsters right now dammit.

And last but not least we have Duraludon, a Steel/Dragon-type Pokemon that sort of looks like a robot Dragon or something of the sort that can apparently grind down boulders by just using his arms.

Certain trailers will be exclusive to Pokemon Sword, whereas others can only be found in Pokemon Shield.

This isn't the first time Pokemon games have featured version-exclusive Gym Leaders; the Leader of the final Gym in Pokemon Black and White would differ depending on which version you were playing, although in both cases, the trainer would still specialize in Dragon Pokemon. It also shows off Chairman Rose and his secretary Oleana.

If you thought Pokemon was weird already, just wait. The Pokemon also changes their appearance as well, making Gigantamaxing a combination of Mega-Evolutions and Z-Moves for a temporary boost in battle.

We don't know much yet about the upcoming game, but we do know you won't be able to transfer every old Pokemon across - a controversial decision that saw Junichi Masuda, the game's producer, issue a statement addressing the drama.
