Just like its predecessors, Luigi's Mansion 3 is an action-adventure game that is set on a haunted hotel, this one called the Last Resort.

That said, Amazon Mexico has been rather accurate regarding leaked release dates in the past.

Today, both those fears were pretty much put to rest as Nintendo announced that Luigi's Mansion 3 is in fact coming out in the month of October.

Where does Luigi's Mansion 3 rank on your list of Nintendo Switch games? That's right, Nintendo have announced a 31st October release date for the Nintendo Switch exclusive Luigi's Mansion 3.

The game has been in development for quite some time, as the first time we got a glimpse of it was back in September 2018 during a Nintendo Direct. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. You will also be able to summon Gooigi, a slimy Luigi doppelganger that you will be able to use to get around in areas Luigi can't get to himself. For more frenetic multiplayer action, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors in ScareScraper mode. It can be played online, or locally with up to eight players on four Nintendo Switch consoles.

One of the biggest change-ups to the game is the introduction of Luigi's gelatinous counterpart, Gooigi. Many fans speculated that it would drop in October to correspond with Halloween.
