At the close of Pride month, Lil Nas X took to his Twitter to make a new revelation, seemingly coming out and asking his followers to run back a selection on his 7 EP with a new perspective.

"Some of y'all already know, some of y'all don't care", the Old Town Road singer tweeted. Before ending the tweet, he added three emojis: the rainbow flag, the starry-eyed face and the sparkling star.

"True say, I want and I need/ To let go, use my time to be free/ It's like it's always what you like/ It's always what you like/ Why it's always what you like?/ It's always what you like, uh", Nas raps in the song. "Deadass thought I made it obvious", he wrote.

Lil Nas X is also having fun with fans responding to the message, retweeting jokes and congratulations from fans and colleagues in the music industry. Riding high off his smash hit single "Oldtown Road" and its various remixes, X released his eight-track EP earlier this month, featuring Cardi B, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, and, of course, Billy Ray Cyrus.

The 20-year-old Atlanta-born rapper has had the number one song in the US for some time now after his hit "Old Town Road" with Billy Ray Cyrus shot to the top of the charts back in April.

He revealed afterwards that the appearance was his first time in another country.

Both fans and his musical peers have tweeted their support Lil Nas X as the young rapper takes this part of his life to the public sphere.
