Could Vijay Deverakonda act in ‘Dear Comrade’ Bollywood remake as well?

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter enjoyed much attention when they stepped into the industry with Dhadak. Speaking at the film's success meet on Saturday, the Rowdy Star said, "I am emotionally so attached to the film, having invested my emotions in it for more than a year. The planning for this lovely film is underway!", he wrote on Twitter.


The actor also stated that he is much relieved, and also pained after finally putting the movie in the hands of the audience. Recently, Karan Johar announced that he will be making the remake of Dear Comrade.


After attending the special screening of "Dear Comrade", Karan took to Twitter on Tuesday to praise the film. @TheDeverakonda is BRILLIANT as is @iamRashmika. Well, he paid a whopping 6 Crores to the makers of South Indian film, which remains the highest money so far for any South Indian film remake in Bollywood.


Earlier, Karan shared a picture with Vijay Deverakonda and wrote, "Had the pleasure to be the first to see #dearcomrade!". "What a powerful and intense love story". KJo has now acquired the rights for the Hindi remake of the film and no, Vijay will not feature in the Hindi version. "The film is exceptionally moving and leaves you with such an important and relevant message", he tweeted. Strongly directed by debut director @bharatkamma and wonderfully produced by @mythriofficial! Vijay Deverakonda's performance as Bobby, a student leader and Rashmika's portrayal of a female cricketer who's a victim of sexual harassment is being talked about. The film is set to release on July 26.
