Cameron Boyce's younger sister, Maya Boyce, has opened up on social media following her brother's untimely passing earlier this week.

It's been just a few days since Cameron Boyce tragically passed away at the young age of 20.

Cameron Boyce died on July 6, 2019.

"We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart-wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral - which in and of itself, is agonizing", the family said in the statement.

On Monday, Boyce's father, Victor Boyce finally broke his silence on his son's tragic death.

Boyce also cited his relatives in his passion for charity: 'I'm following in the footsteps of some really strong men and women who have showed me what it means to give back; it's the greatest way to fulfill yourself'.

"I spent 17 years knowing what it was like to be loved by Cameron Boyce".

Boyce had starred in many Disney Channel projects, starting in 2011, with guest appearances on Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up and a starring role on Jessie. He also appeared in the "Descendants" movies about the offspring of such classic Disney villains as Cruella De Vil and Maleficent the Evil Queen. His other credits include Disney Junior's "Jake and the Never Land Pirates", Disney XD's series "Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything", and playing Adam Sandler's son in "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2".

On Thursday, Disney Channel announced that the upcoming red carpet premiere of Descendants 3, in which Cameron stars as Carlos, was canceled.

Beneath Victor's moving post, friends and fans of the young actor and activist took to the comment section to offer their sympathy to the family.

CAMERON Boyce's dad shared the final picture taken of his son before he was "snatched" from their lives.

"To the boy whose contagious laugh I can still hear".
