Vivo India is all set to launch an all-new Z series in India as teased earlier this month, but it seems the global branch of the company is also looking at updating its X series of smartphones with a more affordable offering than the current crop of devices in the series. "The all-new Z series has been created to empower the young millennials and fulfil the dynamic needs of the "Gen Z". While we expected it to be the Z5x, Vivo has now come up with an announcement that it'll be launching the Vivo Z1 Pro soon in India. Vivo has partnered with Flipkart to announce the smartphone in the Indian markets and will formally announce the device on 13 June ie tomorrow.

AI Triple Rear Camera: When you see the world through an AI Triple Rear Camera, creating photographic masterpieces is easier than ever. In terms of pricing, we are expecting Vivo to launch the Z1 Pro around same price as the China variant Z5x.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm 700 series processor, most likely the Snapdragon 710 variant.

As far as specs are concerned, Vivo Z5x features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution 1080 * 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The front-facing camera is a 16MP unit. The above teasers from the company clearly suggests that the Vivo Z5x could be rebadged as Vivo Z1 Pro in India. The smartphone will be arriving with in-display camera technology which indicates that it could be featuring a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Moreover, as per the product image posted on the Flipkart website, the Z1 pro will have punch hole design and rear mounted fingerprint sensor.

It was launched in India for Yuan 1,398 (approximately Rs 14,400) for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It also supports 18W fast charging, which is essential for a high-capacity battery such as this one.
