US rapper Cardi B indicted over strip club altercation

The Grammy award victor allegedly believed one of the women was having an affair with her husband, rapper Offset. The multi-platinum recording artist has been accused of ordering a beatdown on two strippers in a NY club, Baddie Gi and Jade (Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend), after being led to believe that they were involved in an affair with her husband Offset.

Born Belcalis Almanzar, and a former stripper herself, Cardi B was at the club in College Point because her husband Offset was performing with his hip hop trio Migos, according to police.

The saga of Cardi B's court case for a strip club brawl continues. NY reported Cardi was caught on camera tossing an ice bucket at the women. The misdemeanors include reckless endangerment, assault, conspiracy, harassment, and criminal solicitation.

According to TMZ, the rapper has been indicted on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. She was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and misdemeanor assault after her October arrest.

Cardi B arrives at Queens Criminal Court, Friday, May 31, 2019, in NY. The outlet says the indictment for the case won't be unsealed until Tuesday afternoon.

UPDATE 11:45 AM EST: A spokesperson for the Queens District Court confirmed TMZ's full report and revealed Cardi's next court appearance in a statement given to HollywoodLife. The incident, which went down in August, was allegedly triggered after Cardi accused Jade of sleeping with Offset.

Cardi's attorney has said he's not aware of any evidence that she caused anyone harm. "This is an honor for me and okuuuurrr, goodnight".
