In an Instagram post, she showcased Lover's cover art, featuring a shot by photographer Valheria Rocha.

The announcement comes a month after Swift dropped the album's first catchy single, "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.

As we wrote, Joe Alwyn's girlfriend and former nemesis Katy Perry are finally at "peace" with each other after the Roar musician suggested on IG that Swift sent her a plate of delicious chocolate chip cookies with "Peace At Last" written in frosting.

Taylor Swift has announced that her new and seventh album Lover will be released this August and she will also be releasing a new single entitled You Need To Calm Down on Thursday evening.

A few fans have noticed that the album's release date adds up to her lucky number.

The Reputation era is over, and Taylor Swift, 29, is welcoming a new chapter!

"Usually when I'm writing songs, I like to just record everything that's happening". The music video will be released on Good Morning America on June 17, but don't worry because it'll be uploaded on YouTube right after. Swift says she wanted to release the video after the single because "there's a lot going on in the video, so I wanted that to be a separate discovery". Because the video is very worth the wait.

According to Swift's Instagram Live, the album will have 18 songs, and "the tone is really romantic". I think you can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through a conflict or dealing with things in your life. "The idea of something being romantic...it doesn't have to be a happy song". "It looks at things with a very romantic gaze". Swift also announced that Lover will coincide with a collaboration with the designer, but she didn't get into specific details yet.

"An easy way to remember that date is August is the eighth month of the year and then 23, two plus three so you just add it all together: eight plus two plus three equals I'm obnoxious".
