Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum has praised the Reds' evolution under Jurgen Klopp and lauded the performances of Virgil van Dijk in a recent interview with the club.

"We have evolved a lot", Wijnaldum told Liverpool's official website.

"We started really well and we managed to win hard games where in the past it was quite hard and if we didn't play really well we didn't win the games that were really tough".

"But this season we managed to win those games". We grew during the season.

The Brazilian was limited to 22 starts in La Liga last season and only managed to score five goals and make two assists in a total of 34 games for the Spanish giants.

According to "Calciomercato", Coutinho, who is now taking part in the Copa America with Brazil, is being followed by various clubs with his desire to leave Barça well known.

"We learned a lot".

Le10 Sport are reporting that the Reds are interested in re-signing Philippe Coutinho, a player they sold to Barcelona not too long ago.

Virgil van Dijk played a major role in the league's best defence and went on to claim the PFA Players' Player of the Year award.

Liverpool have no interest in signing Real Betis full-back Junior Firpo, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Catalan publication Sport noted that Coutinho was asked about his club future at full-time in Salvador, when he said: "I do not know, the future nobody knows, I am focused to play with the national team now".
