Mario World arrives for Android and iOS on July 10

The Japanese company has just announced that Dr. Mario World will be making its debut on Android and iOS no later than July 10, and, more importantly, it will be free to play. Australians will be getting the game on both platforms (some smaller countries, like the Virgin Islands, are only getting the game on one or the other). The aim is to clear the entire stage, but you'll have a limit to how many capsules you can use, meaning you'll have to plan ahead.

The game will use Diamonds as its currency using which players can buy in-game items. Obviously, there will be in-app purchases, but those will be entirely optional. It operates on a matching system that involves color-coding objects vertically or horizontally to clear them. You can now pre-register for Dr. Mario World on Google Play Store and App Store for free.

Dr. Mario World will be Nintendo's first mobile title release for 2019. Now they're ready to eliminate those unruly viruses. Nintendo has promised that it will add new worlds as well as new doctors to the game on a regular basis. You can fill this stamina meter using diamonds or exit the game and then come back later. In stage mode, players will be able to send and receive stamina-giving hearts or challenge others to a one-on-one battle.
