Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is finally set to complete his long-awaited move to Real Madrid after a fee was agreed between the two clubs to take the Belgian to the Spanish capital.

The Chelsea star will become the second signing of the week for Los Blancos, following Luka Jovic's arrival at the Bernabeu earlier this week.

The Danish worldwide player has been touted as a possible transfer addition to both Manchester United and Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Speaking to BT after full time Hazard said, "We will decide in a few days and the only target in my mind was to win this final". "I think it is goodbye, but in football, you never know".

Hazard has one-year left on his current contract at Chelsea and has turned down overtures by them to extend his deal beyond 2020.

Real were always expected to spend big this summer after a poor season by all accounts.

President Florentino Perez went through two managers in the season, after ruining Spain's chances in the World Cup last summer by getting Julen Lopetegui sacked on the eve of the final, and then went back to Zidane.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has confirmed that he will leave the club this summer amidst the intense transfer interest in his services.

During the last season, Hazard scored 19 goals and made 16 assists in 51 appearances.

Back in April, the Royal Club offered for a 28-year-old Belgian footballer € 100 million, and later € 120 million.

That particular shirt doesn't have any link to any famous names in Real Madrid's history, nor does it have any relation to Hazard himself.
