Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro With Pop-Up Selfie Camera, 4000mAh Battery Goes Official

Until recently, OnePlus used to take pride in being the flagship killer, but with OnePlus 7 Pro, the company has joined the premium club by putting a starting price of $669 on its new smartphone. At the launch event, the smartphone was shown in two colour options in real life and it looks stunning, to say the least. Redmi K20 Pro comes in four Variants- 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage variant is priced at 2,499 Yuan, 6GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage is priced at 2,599 Yuan, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage will cost 2799 Yuan, while for 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage one has to shell out 2,999 Yuan. The devices will be available in Carbon Fiber Black, Flame Red, and Glacier Blue color options. Being a flagship smartphone, the Redmi K20 Pro has an AMOLED display that also integrated the 7th Gen in-display fingerprint scanner.

Regarding video recording, the Redmi K20 Pro can record slow- motion video at 960fps and 1080p.

The laptop also comes with Xiaomi Smart Unlock 2.0 feature that allows Mi Band 3 owners to unlock the RedmiBook 14 instantly when they come near it. Pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Edition, Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition also come as standard for RedmiBook 14.

For better gaming experience, Redmi K20 Pro features Game Turbo 2.0 and eight layer liquid cooling. In terms of camera, it has three snappers with the Sony IMX586 sensor as its major setup. There's also an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 13MP wide-angle shooter with a 124-degree field of view. This camera setup is pretty much similar to the ones present on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Through its fast charge technology, users can gain 50% of its battery capacity with just 35 minutes of charging time.

It will go up against the likes of OnePlus 7 and Vivo iQOO gaming smartphone in China, offering a tough competition with its feature-laden offering.

On the camera front, the smartphone is equipped with 13 MP selfie camera and 48 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera that features PDAF and EIS. You also get two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, 3.5mm jack, and Wi-Fi ac along with Bluetooth connectivity. The Redmi K20 uses the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset and also comes with up to 8GB of RAM. The camera configuration is the same as the K20 Pro. The battery is also the same, at 4,000mAh, but fast charging is limited to 18W. The 6GB/128GB model is $375, while going to 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB will set you back $400 and $430 respectively.

The Redmi K20 Pro starts at 2,499 Yuan (about ₹25,200) for the 6GB/64GB model.
