These 2 old 'Game of Thrones' visions basically predicted Episode 5

Did we see this coming? Yes. Yes, our Mother of Dragons snapped, and people were left with some truly mixed reactions.

Headey said in Cersei's final moments with Jaime the character finally broke through her disillusion to realize what's important (as Jaime tells her right before they die, "It's all that matters", in reference to their love and their unborn child). From major deaths to battles seasons-in-the-making, here's how the mild-mannered fans of Twitter treated Game of Thrones season 8, episode 5.

Game of Thrones fans, raise your wine glasses to Cersei Lannister.

Just a week after Game of Thrones viewers made fun of the show's editors for failing to notice a modern-day coffee cup accidentally left in the shot, HBO's mega-hit has served up a fresh slip-up. The brother and sister reunited just moments before their deaths in the cellar of the Red Keep, which collapsed as Daenerys burned King's Landing to the ground. If so, they went out together, exactly as they should have.

"Burn them all." The Mad King's dying wish was finally fulfilled by his daughter in Game of Thrones' penultimate episode, "The Bells".

Some fans felt Dany's turn toward revenge-fueled madness made ideal sense - considering last week's beheading of her closest friend and her family's history of insanity - while others felt it was a betrayal that ruined one of the show's most beloved characters.

"I think the biggest surprise is he came back for her", she said. We've always known that the final confrontation between Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) would be fierce and very bad, but no one could have possibly predicted this sort of carnage. "Ultimately they belong together".

After being collected from his chambers, he was brought to Dany, where she waited with her single remaining dragon, Drogon, and let rip with a "dracarys".

Crushed by a whole bunch of rocks (yep), Cersei and Jaime Lannister met their end on Sunday, just a week before Game of Thrones' big finale. "I told Nikolaj, 'I've never seen you so sweet and sentimental.' And he's all, 'What's happening to me?' We kept cuddling going 'I love you.' It was weird".
