The Galaxy A70 is officially priced at RM1,999 in Malaysia.

Even though the Galaxy M30 model was announced only a few months ago, it looks like Samsung is nearly ready to launch a successor as hinted by the SM-M405F model that made a recent appearance on GeekBench. Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Galaxy A80 in mid-May around the time of the OnePlus 7 Series launch. Samsung Galaxy A20 was launched last month in April.

Customers who buy the Galaxy A10 will get an instant discount of Rs 500, bringing down the effective price of the smartphone to Rs 7,990 from Rs 8,490 earlier.

Samsung is vigorously marketing the Galaxy A-series models in different markets, apparently in a bid to reclaim its dominance of the midrange segment. Both the Galaxy A20 and A10 are powered by Exynos 7884 SoC but the A10 comes with 2GB RAM whereas the A20 ships with 3GB RAM. Now, the latest price cut could add more numbers in its selling. The listing suggests that the Galaxy M40 will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 processor, paired with 6GB RAM, and the phone should run on Android Pie out-of-the-box. This combo is pretty impressive considering the top of the line Galaxy S10+ gets a smaller 4,100mAh battery and it still uses the same old 15W Adaptive Fast Charger.

The Galaxy A30 has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED panel. It also sports a dual back camera setup of 16MP and 5MP including an ultra wide-angle lens. It has a great 4,000mAh battery with Android 9 Pie under Samsung's One UI. Under the hood, there is an octa-core SoC, coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM options and 32GB as well as 64GB of inbuilt storage.
