"This is my thing with Trump: We don't have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel", West says. Seems like an easy answer, but Kanye deflects, saying "Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!"

Letterman's second season of high-profile interviews will also see the longtime talk show host sit down with Ellen DeGeneres, Actress Tiffany Haddish, NASCAR star Lewis Hamilton, and Melinda Gates. "I was frightened honestly because I had only met him a couple of times on the show, and I knew that depending on the day, you weren't quite sure which path you were going to be on", he said.

"An artist which I will not mention, because I'm not allowed to mention him or any of his family members.Well, we had a little beef previous year", Kanye reportedly says on the episode before revealing that he is referring to Drake.

Kanye's feud with Drake is also briefly mentioned.

In 2018, West used various platforms from TMZ to his personal Twitter account to express his controversial and political standing as it relates to his support of Trump. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does.

Refusing to acknowledge loopholes used to stop people likely to vote Democrat from having their say, he then responds to Letterman's question about who does most of the bullying.

The in-depth interview with West touched upon a great many subjects, per the Daily Beast report, but at one point West himself brought up the president in the context of talking about the #MeToo movement. "Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!" "I just channeled it".

West admits he hasn't taken his meds for at least a year.

"One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can't tell me what to do because I'm black", he wrote on Twitter on January 1.
