Pogba has made it clear that he admires Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid, but Manchester United have categorically dismissed reports of a departure, insisting that he is not for sale.

The Spanish club are planning a squad overhaul this summer, with Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba among the players they are looking to bring in.

Former Chelsea forward Gudjohnsen left Chelsea for Barcelona in 2006 so knows all about the lure of Spain's big clubs, yet he believes winning this year's Europa League, and consequently qualifying for the Champions League, could be a factor in Hazard's decision.

"We lost today but we hope to win the second league".

And with the club unable to sign any players until July 2020 due to a two-window Federation Internationale de Football Association transfer ban, Hazard said Chelsea would be at a disadvantage if they are left playing in the Europa League again next season.

"We should not talk about Marcelo's season, as we have all failed collectively".

Hazard has scored 19 times in all competitions for the Blues in what is coach Sarri's first campaign at the helm. For the fans I think the most important thing is when they see me on the pitch they just think that my head is with Chelsea. "But a great player like him would be an automatic pick in any team".

"You can only judge a manager at the end of the season".

As a result, a massive release clause has been triggered on the contract, with United one of the major players said to be interested in the deal.

"But it is not for me to say which players should be signed. But, in saying that, if they go on and win [the Europa League], we'll look back and say it was a success".
