The Australian actress has dropped the first look as she gets back in the saddle as the unhinged anti-heroine in the hotly-anticipated Birds of Prey.

Robbie shared her new look on Instagram Monday morning, where a much more colorful Harley Quinn can be seen, in comparison to her character in 2016's Suicide Squad version.

In addition to the first photo of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in the film, today also brought us a brief first teaser for Birds of Prey - even though the film doesn't open in theaters for more than a year. Now comes news that the Harley Quinn spin-off starring Margot Robbie may not be rated R, as has been speculated for quite some time.

Harley Quinn will be featured in the film with bangs and a jacket made of confetti along with a pink tank top and red suspenders.

Last to talk about is the line that pops up at the end of the teaser "See You Soon".

"Miss me? HQ", she captioned the shot.

In the teaser, Robbie is joined by castmates Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ella Jay Basco, and Ewan McGregor. Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is directed by Cathy Yan from a script by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee) and is scheduled for release on Feb 7, 2020.

The Birds of Prey are a mostly female superhero team whose ranks in the DC source material has included Oracle/Batgirl, Black Canary, Huntress, Catwoman, Hawkgirl, Power Girl, Poison Ivy, Vixen, and Katana (Karen Fukuhara), who appeared opposite Harley in Suicide Squad.
