Even the seemingly materialistic chorus, "I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it", gives the impression that there's more to the lavish visuals and opulent imagery than fans might appreciate upon first viewing.

She's releasing her new anthemic single, 7 Rings, on Friday.

"7 Rings", Ariana Grande's third single from her impending fifth album, thank u, next, is here - she's just dropped the track, and a music video featuring her childhood friends.

And sources told TMZ, pop singer Ariana Grande, 25, was inspired by something that happened shortly after her break-up with former fiancé Pete Davidson.

In December, Granded tweeted that the "7 rings" belonged to her and her best pals - Victoria Monét, Courtney Chipolone, Alexa Luria, Tayla Parx, Njozma, Alexa Luria and Kaydence - all of whom made cameos in her rosè-hued video. Now, she has shared a new video for the song. Set to the "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music, the songstress makes her love for the finer things in life known. "They got us very tipsy, so we bought seven engagement rings, and when I got back to the studio I gave everybody a friendship ring". "That's why we have these, and that's where the song idea came from".

Ariana Grande is the gift that keeps on giving, and her latest offering, "7 Rings", is sure to be another hit.

"For those of you asking about imagine: i would say if "thank u, next" = acceptance..."
