Lynch said she was back to prove that Rousey wasn't the "Baddest Woman on the Planet", and that she had chose to challenge Rousey to a Raw Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania 35. "To prove you're not".

Nia Jax is always keen to stress she's "not like most girls" but it was a modus operandi which did not do her too many favours when she made a decision to enter the men's Royal Rumble on Sunday night. Rousey reminded Lynch that the former SmackDown Live women's champion was on the WrestleMania kickoff show past year while she was stealing the show in a mixed tag match.

Having come up short in the women's version of the 30-person elimination extravaganza - she entered at #29 but was thrown out by Becky Lynch - Jax chanced her arm with the men. The match ended in a disqualification due to Undertaker interference. Lynch would pull herself into the ring to face off against Charlotte and eventually eliminate her. However, Nia Jax would break Lynch's nose and give her a concussion after Becky and the rest of the SmackDown women invaded Monday Night RAW.

The feud between the two goes back to Survivor Series, when Ronda and Becky were supposed to face off for the first time ever in a battle of the two brand champions at the time. "I am going to take your title and I'm going to kick your ass in front of the whole world", Lynch said. WWE made the match official as the show went off the air.

The showed closed with Seth Rollins, the men's Royal Rumble victor, needing to choose between Universal champion Brock Lesnar and WWE champion Daniel Bryan for his WrestleMania match.
